Pianist and Composer Dahveed Behroozi is a San Francisco Bay Area based musician.  His focus is in jazz, classical, and new music.  He is an active player both as a leader and sideman in the Bay Area, nationally and also internationally.

In 2012, Dahveed released his first record Games with the bassist Thomas Morgan and the drummer Tim Bulkley.  

Originally from San Jose CA, Dahveed received his BA in jazz piano performance from the Manhattan School of music where he studied with Fred Hersch.  He then received his MA in classical piano performance from the Conservatory of Music at Brooklyn College where he studied with Ursula Oppens.

Currently, Dahveed serves on the music faculty at Gavilan College as well as San Jose State University.
